Working with Facilities

FCA will coordinate with the campsites to make sure they have a plan in place to clean and disinfect rooms and other public spaces and other special provisions for hosting groups.

Partnering with Parents

We know that you want the best for your child, and we want them to have the best experience possible at FCA Camp. That’s why we ask that any parent whose child has had a fever or illness within 72 hours to stay home.

Registration and Check-in

FCA Camps will utilize infrared thermometers for scanning every incoming camper for fever. If a camper has an elevated temperature, they are sensitively guided to our medical personnel for further evaluation away from other campers and staff.

Camp Medical Personnel

FCA has certified trainers and other licensed medical staff at camp. These medical teams are continually monitoring the health of our campers and acting quickly to identify, contain, and treat any injury or illnesses that may appear.

Staff and Camper Training

All our staff serving at camp will be trained on FCA’s COVID 19 Plan to include: proper handwashing procedures, social distancing guidelines, and procedures to report any illness. Each huddle leader will review appropriate handwashing procedures with campers.

Constant Sanitation Protocol

Each huddle, meeting room, field, and court is equipped with handwashing facilities, hand sanitizer, and disinfectant wipes. Our staff will emphasize regular handwashing with all campers. Campers and staff will use hand sanitizer upon entering and leaving rooms and buildings.

Limiting Exposure

If a camper or staff person develops symptoms of COVID 19 at camp, FCA will separate them from others as soon as possible until they can go home and provide them with a clean, disposable facemask to wear.

Parents/Guardians must agree to pick ill student up as soon as possible.
